When people start looking into the history of an older home, one of the first things they run into is the question of what style it is and roughly when it was built, and the vocabulary can be a real barrier at the start. This glossary that breaks all of it down in a really accessible, beginner-friendly way, covering both the terms and the different architectural styles you see on a typical street, like Victorian, Craftsman, Colonial, and Tudor, which ended up being useful even for us.
